Annie Leibovitz has 3 children, Sarah Cameron Leibovitz, Susan Leibovitz, and Samuelle Leibovitz. Her partner from 1989, Susan Sontag, died in 2004. She has two awards, Honorary Clio Award, Glamour Award for The Visionary. Annie photographed John Lennon on the same day he was assassinated. She has 6 siblings.
2. Style:
Annie Leibovitz has a style in her photography that is simple. Most of her work has plain dark colors as the background. she uses a lot of dark colors. Annie also uses white a lot. Mostly in shirts.
3. Philosophy:
Annie was photographing famous people. In the last picture she might have been trying to make a statement but I could not find what it was. The person in the photo has a white face and is pulling her skin. That is not a usual picture so that is what makes me think she could be making a statement.

Annie is very influential. She shows in her pictures that they can be simple and still tell a story. Her picture send messages.

6. Compare and Contrast:
In my first picture I tried to make my brothers hair look like Leo's, but his hair is really thin. Leo also has a vest on and I don't have a vest so I put the sleeves of a black shirt over his shoulders. In the second picture I tried to make lines on my brothers face with tape but it didn't work so I put eyeshadow on his forehead. For the last picture, it was very complicated. I did not have any face pain so i tried baking soda and water and it did not work so I put toothpaste and it looks like she is crying because it was burning her eyes.
7. Personal Artist Statement:
I tried to make the images as close as possible to Annie's pictures. I used makeup, and clothes. I used natural lighting and lighting from my brothers lights to create the same lighting she had. I tried to get the same colored background but it was harder to do that in the last picture. This was hard because I did not have the same materials as Annie Leibovitz.
